The book brings together 30 years of swimming coaching experience.  It is in two sections. 

The first section comprehensively (and simply) explains the front crawl technique and gives practical guidance as to how best develop it. 

The second shorter section gives advice as to how best devise your swimming training program based upon your own ability level.

Don’t expect a dense manual containing lots of technical information.  This is meant to be a simple to use practical book that reads like a revision guide.
